These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to you being part of any training or coaching offered by The Product Refinery (Programs). By paying for and participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not or cannot comply with these terms, we reserve the right to remove you from the Program.
The Agreement may be modified from time to time. This page displays the last revision date.
Programs are operated by The Product Refinery (we or our or us). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales (Reg. No. 11115287). Our registered office is located at 13 Hawley Crescent, London, NW1 8NP.
We accept payment via bank transfer and online payment only. Local VAT/tax may apply according to your country of residence. For online payments, The Product Refinery uses the 3rd party service Stripe for secure online credit card payments. As a third party service, Stripe ensures the security of your payment. Please refer to Stripe to read more about the services specifically.
3.1 Entire program cancellation
If you are unable to participate in your Program, your enrollment can be transferred to another person up to 7 days before your Program begins, at no extra cost. To transfer enrollment less than 7 days of your Program beginning, there is a £100 fee. Once you begin your Program, no transfer can be offered.
If you need to defer your start date or cancel your participation, the following terms apply:
7 days before your Program starts – You may defer to a future date no more than 6 months in the future, at no cost. You may also cancel and you will be refunded in full.
Less than 7 days before your Program starts - you may defer or cancel for a fee of £100.
Once your Program has started - No rescheduling or cancellation of the Program is permitted. (Exception is made for serious illness proved by a doctor’s letter. In this case the participant can choose to defer to a future date or cancel for a fee of £300).
Any requests for enrollment transfer, program deferral, or program cancellation must be made in writing to us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not accept verbal requests.
3.2 Individual coaching session cancellation
You are entitled to the number of coaching sessions within your Program (Allotted Sessions) as specified at the time of purchase, to be used within the duration of the program as stated at the time of purchase. The dates/times of your coaching sessions are to be mutually agreed between you and The Product Refinery.
Sessions can be postponed free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the session. Short-term cancellations by you or sessions for which you do not join within the first 15 minutes are considered “No Shows” and will be fully deducted from your Allotted Sessions.
The Product Refinery reserves the right to cancel your Program enrollment if you breach these terms and conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to you. We also reserve the right to cancel your enrollment without refund in the event of any verbal or written abuse of any kind (including abusive, offensive or aggressive language) directed towards a coach or any other member of our team.
We are the owner, or authorised licensee, of all intellectual property rights in the Program and the content in them. Such works are protected by copyright law and treaties throughout the world. All such rights are reserved.
Content made available through the Program may be viewed, listened to, downloaded, and printed for your own personal, non-commercial use only. It may not be shared with anyone else or reproduced in any way.
The Product Refinery owns the right to user-contributed ideas for product improvement or program content created solely by you or by you in collaboration with The Product Refinery with no need to compensate you. This includes but is not limited to:
While we aim to ensure the Program website and 3rd party services used to deliver our Program (Google Cloud, Zoom, and Calendly, etc) are available 24 hours a day, and that Program coaches and session facilitators deliver the services promised, we will not be liable for circumstances outside our control that prevent you from accessing the Program or participating in individual coaching sessions. We will, however, make all reasonable efforts to offer you replacement services, where possible.
You must use the provided communication channels for all contact with your coach and you may not engage their services in any capacity other than that facilitated by The Product Refinery.
Your Log-In Credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your log-in credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur through the use of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe the confidentiality of your log-in credentials has been compromised or if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You agree that we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your credentials.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the program website any material: (a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; (b) for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; (c) which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world; or (d) which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data). You may not misuse the program website(including, without limitation, by hacking). We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting any material in breach of points a, b or c above.
The content available to you as part of our Program is provided for your information purposes only and is guidance and suggestion rather than advice.
To the extent permitted by law, we expressly exclude:
all conditions, warranties, and all other term which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law, or the law of equity;
any liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with the Program and/or in connection with the Program, including (without limitation) any liability for loss of: income or revenue; business; profit; contracts; anticipated savings; data; goodwill; management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
This provision does not affect our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for misrepresentation or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
